Category talk:Types of Community
I would propose adding something like a "new category" list, or a "experimental list". Something needs to be provided for new ideas and approaches. In the same vein, I don't see any provision for discussing intentional community from an analytical or theoretical point of view.
Of course, special interests, status quo, and politically correctness may be threatened; probably, no matter whether those interests are "alternative" or traditional. Chris, from www.cooperative-community.info
The Types of Community list is certainly not expected to cover every community since they do not all fit into categories so easily. Feel free to add some text to Types of community discussing the concept of experimental communities that do not fit into any existing class.
Also if you want to create a page for some new type of community you hope to define that is fine as long as you note that it is theoretical.
It is true that this wiki is not so much a discussion forum as such and therefore not the easiest venue for dialog. But if you want to put out your theoretical thoughts on community that is fine. Just create a page about your concept and people can add to it if they like. For instance you could create a page like Leadership in Community to discuss the dynamics of leadership thats great.
Does this get at what you are looking for?
