Morningstar Ranch

From ICWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Morningstar Ranch was a community in the late 1960s, located a bit east of Occidental, Sonoma County, California. It formed on land purchased by Lou Gottlieb, a member of the Limelighters folk group. It dissolved as a result of actions taken by the local authorities, as well as internal conflict. Some of its members moved to the nearby Wheeler's Ranch.

The Morningstar residence at Twin Oaks Community was named for Morningstar Ranch.
