Sol (Shlomo) Etzioni

Sol (Shlomo) Etzioni- Born in Australia in 1929, died in Israel in 2007. Sol was active in the Zionist youth movement, "Habonim", and was a member of Kibbutz Tzora since 1954. He worked in the orchards and as a part-time shepherd, but mainly as a highshool teacher of chemistry. He worked with Jewish youth in New Zealand, 1962-4, and was married to former South African Rene. They had 3 children +and 8 grandchildren. Main interests: history, science, stamps and communes, not necessarily in that order. He was one of the editors of CALL, the Communities At Large Letter, published by the International Communities desk in Israel.
